POTX files are a newer version of the Microsoft PowerPoint template format. Like POT files, these contain slide layouts, backgrounds, color schemes, and more design elements that can be used as templates for new presentations. However, the POTX format is compatible with newer versions of PowerPoint and may contain additional features and functionality.
